Foxconn recently stated that they hope their automotive brand Foxtron can capture 5% of the global electric vehicle market by the end of 2025. Currently, the company is rapidly expanding its electric vehicle progress and aims to produce 500,000 to 750,000 electric vehicles annually by 2025.

It is reported that through cooperation with Yulon Motor, Foxconn launched three electric vehicle prototypes in 2021, including the Model E electric luxury sedan, Model C electric SUV, and Model T electric bus, all of which will belong to Foxconn's Foxtron brand.

According to Foxconn, the Model E will have a range of 750 kilometers and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3 seconds, while the Model C will have a range of 700 kilometers and can reach 0 to 100 km/h in 4 seconds.

In addition, Foxconn plans to establish two production facilities: one in Thailand, a joint venture with Thailand's state-owned oil and gas company PTT, which will develop platforms for electric vehicles and produce components; the second factory will be located in the United States, serving American production partners such as Fisker.

Although reports indicate that Foxconn's electric vehicle business is progressing rapidly, it is still unclear when Foxtron vehicles will go into production. However, some media speculate that production of its models may begin as early as this year.
